Saroj Khan Demise: Legendary Choreographer's Daughter Shares 'Bollywood Was In Her Blood'; Reveals Madhuri, Govinda Stayed In Touch
Yesterday, we all woke up to the sad news of Saroj Khan's passing away. The legendary choreographer who served Bollywood for more than four decades was among the most well-known personalities in the industry. She made the biggest names of Bollywood to dance to her tunes. From Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Kajol, Sridevi to Alia Bhatt - Saroj Khan choreographed many iconic songs featuring the top Bollywood stars. Post her demise, many celebrities took to their social media accounts to mourn her death. Now, her youngest daughter Sukaina has spoken up on her mother's love for the industry.

In an interview with ETimes, Sukaina spoke about how actresses like Ananya Panday, Sara Ali Khan and others came to her to take lessons. She also spoke about her mother's shift to Television and how it led to less work in Bollywood. Sukaina was quoted saying, "She was getting offers to work, but at the same time, because of her age and health she wanted to take a back seat. But still she was doing a couple of jobs. She had actresses learning with her, including Alizeh, Ananya, Sara, Saiee – all these girls were training under her. So she considered herself very lucky and connected to Bollywood equally. She went into TV very soon. And I think Bollywood started accepting the fact that she liked TV more than Bollywood, whereas Bollywood was in her blood. She couldn’t leave Bollywood at all.”

Further, Sukaina also revealed that stars like Madhuri Dixit, Govinda, Jackie Shroff and others kept in touch with Saroj Khan even after their projects were done. Saroj Khan's daughter revealed that all the stars are shell shocked by the news of her death as nobody anticipated it. Sukaina was quoted saying, "Everybody was in touch. Madhuri ma’am, Subhash ji, Jackie ji, Govinda sir, everybody kept calling her up and called me too. They would ask me about her health and how she was doing. When they heard the news, they were all shell shocked like we were. We didn’t expect something like this coming our way."
